Centro Social do Bairro 6 de Maio
The Centro Social do Bairro 6 de Maio is a private institution of social solidarity formed in 1983 by initiative of the Community of the Dominican Missionary Sisters of the Rosary.
We want to meet the needs, motivations and desires of the residents in neighbourhoods where we intervene: Bairro 6 de Maio e Bairro Estrela D’África.
We develop our Education actions by areas – Nursery, Pre-School, a leisure activity – and by a comprehensive project of Community Action.
The Social Centre seeks, through the principles of justice, solidarity and fraternity, to sensitize the population for its important contribution in the personal and collective developing.
